A few years ago, Berliners began transforming old-style East Berlin social clubs into fancy new bars. The slacker entrepreneurs behind FC Magnet have taken it a step further, creating a fashionable football bar complete with its own team. Though the drinks aren't exceptional, people pack in at weekends to play Kicker (table football) under a giant photograph of Franz Beckenbauer.
