A favourite of Berlin club kids, this well-known Oranienstrasse spot gets pretty rowdy, as the perfect launch pad for an extended party session. The bar is decorated with bizarre bric-a-brac and the murals by local artist Chin Chin are pitched somewhere between the gothic and twee. They run a typical bar menu, with coffees and a selection of cakes during the day. There is plenty of seating, but the best tables are at the front, to see and be seen; on hot days they open out the front windows and it’s a great place to watch the freaky denizens of Kreuzberg go about their business. There’s a small smoking room in the back which doubles up as a club on weekends.
