Neither a typical heavy metal bar nor remotely typical for this area, the Egyptian-themed Eck attracts a young crowd with relentless metal videos, a decent selection of beers and both pool and table football. Inoperative disco balls, mummy overhead lamps and formidable dragon busts deck an interior half designed like a mausoleum, half in gloomy medieval style. A small menu changes weekly and there's live Bundesliga football on weekend afternoons.
