Rock am Ring, is one of the oldest and most esteemed rock festivals in the world: nowhere else will you find a lineup so jam-packed with punk stalwarts, pop-savvy rockers and mighty mettlers, or a crowd so caught up in the furore that it just won’t stop bouncing. With three main stages, and a pit teeming with fist-pumping moshers, prepare to be totally torn for choice when you see the set list. It’s always pretty hot, you’ll lose your voice from screaming along, and you will definitely ache afterwards, but, if last year is anything to go by, you will get to crowd surf like crazy to the anthems from your youth, and you can also expect fireworks – literally.
