The desolate area around Warschauer Strasse S-Bahn station has had a shot in the arm - and not the kind it's normally known for. Suicide Circus opened on land owned by the Berlin transport authority, the BVG, and has been hosting crazy electro all-nighters, new wave discos and techno parties to provide a bright spot in a part of town not known for great clubs. Around the corner within the same compound is the new Astra concert venue, which has hosted gigs by Peaches and the Gossip.
