Most Indian restaurants in Berlin seem to offer more or less the same menu. This one can be forgiven, as it was the first to open. More than 20 years later, it's still one of the best, offering well-priced, well-prepared dishes in small but quiet and tasteful premises. The branch on Goethestrasse offers vegetarian south Indian cuisine. Other locations: Satyam, Goethestrasse 5 (3180 6111).
