Based on Strayed's best-selling book, Tiny Beautiful Things is a play by the Queensland Theatre about the column 'Dear Sugar' Strayed wrote for the website The Rumpus. After battling her demons while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail – which resulted in the hit book and film Wild – Strayed took to her desk to answer letters from the anxious, betrayed and confused.
Amidst the clutter of her family life, Strayed receives emails from strangers needing help navigating the trials and tribulations of life. Can't pay the bills? Feeling overcome with grief?
