Arpier:
Arpier are an upcoming indie-rock band consisting of songwriters Liam and Robert, hailing from the inner-city suburbs of Brisbane. They officially formed at the end of high school and since then, the two have been bouncing around the ever-eclectic Brisbane music scene, spreading their punchy alt rock & chilled jazz-fusion vibes to venues all across the city. 2016 sees the lads joined by James (bass) and Amy (drums) and advance their careers with their second single release, 'Sailing Borderlines' a short, sweet and jazzy track, sure to get your head bopping and your feet tapping.

Landings:
Those with a keen ear and an appreciation for the Brisbane music scene may well recognise members of both celebrated alt-rockers Lucha Libre and lowdown electronic act Tremors within the ranks of new Brisbane trio, Landings. Debut single, ‘My Bones’ was recorded partially at home and partially in John Steel Singers’ studio, The Plutonium before being mixed by acclaimed Australian producer Jean Paul Fung (Silverchair, Birds Of Tokyo).

Nice Biscuit:
Nice Biscuit are a 7 strong band of mates who all live dotted along the 196 bus-line. They have played music together since late 2015 but this will be their first ~*real*~ gig and they sure couldn’t be happier to play at The Zoo. Their genre is yet to be confirmed but could be psych-soul-kewlband-blues drenched in reverb harmonies or something like that.

The Keepaways:
Hi, its us the Keepaways, 2 boys, big guys, tough men. So glad to be here and playing music for everyone.
The two members of The Keepaways are very interesting people. They all have masters in Biomedical Science and enjoy making sushi and pancakes on the side. When they met, Dogboi said, "Oi bro, what's up." The end. D. D.D.D.D.D.D.

The Dollar Bill Murrays:
If 5 bucks gets you 5 bands, then a dollar bill will get you one: The Dollar Bill Murrays make music that sometimes sounds a bit like a rainbow having an existential crisis, and sometimes like a tinny caught on a relaxing tidal wave. With their first EP released to the world and more music in the works, The Dollar Bill Murrays deliver fuzzed out rock with a make-out groove.
