WWF Australia says
The World Science Festival is coming to Brisbane from the 9 to 13 March, and we’re excited to be a part of it!

On Saturday 12 March 2016, WWF-Australia and AMCS will co-host the ‘Thomas Conservation Oration’ with special guest-star former Environment Minister Robert Hill, who will outline his vision for the future of oceans conservation.

As Environment Minister, Professor Hill was instrumental in creating 11 million hectares of marine sanctuaries inside the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, and established Australia’s first national oceans policy.

This one-off event will be held at the Festival Lab – a special inflatable venue being installed at South Bank just for the World Science Festival with drinks and snacks available at the bar.

There are only limited seats available for this special event. This first round of tickets are FREE but you MUST get in quick to secure them: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/ocean-futures-a-new-generation-of-laws-and-policies-for-the-sea-tickets-21514623819
