Master the spine and sacrum with this course - Part 1 will include the upper cervical, cervicothoracic spine and thoracic spine/ribs. Part 2 will include the thoracolumbar, lumbar and SIJ. These workshops are about improving your skills, but also your reasoning skills.

In this workshop you will develop your skills in the following topics:
1. Subjective examination including history taking and clinical reasoning for the cerviothoracic region
2. Basic blood test interpretation relevant to headaches and spinal conditions
3. MRI and other scans (relevance and use in clinical practice)
4. How to change your approach when dealing with acute vs chronic headaches, cervical pain or thoracic pain
5. Objective examination
- Movement patterns
- Local joint pathomechanics assessment
- Differentiating myogenic vs arthrogenic vs neurogenic vs centrally mediated vs metabolic/nutritional deficiency/non-MSK conditions

6. Alignment correction techniques
7. Regional syndromes with different treatment approaches
8. MET approaches to joint pain and dysfunction
9. EMDN and MDN for the region
10. Other techniques

Time and location
9am to 6pm (9 hours including break)

9am to 10am subjective assessment, blood tests and scans
10am to 11am case studies and dealing with acute vs chronic
11am to 12noon objective assessment techniques
1pm to 1:30pm objective assessment techniques continued
1:30pm to 6pm treatment techniques

This workshop is for graduates of the Bachelor of Health Science (MST or MYO)

$300 (including workbook) - Lunch is available at local cafes
