Grammy-winning Afro house star Black Coffee is to headline an exclusive 2,000-capacity open-air performance at Buda Castle on August 14, offering a rare opportunity to experience one of the world’s leading electronic artists in an intimate and historic setting.
Black Coffee is a global force in Afro house, having defined the sound through his acclaimed productions, headline festival performances and celebrated Ibiza residencies. The South African-born DJ picked up a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2022. This spring, he performed a three-hour set with a full orchestra to a packed O2 Arena in London.
The musician’s long-standing relationship with Croatian promoters BSH Events has already led to several stand-out events – shortly before his upcoming return to Budapest after 12 years, Black Coffee will be performing at the Roman amphitheatre in Pula, Croatia.
The August 14 show is being presented by BSH in partnership with local promoters City Takeover, and represents a first time in Hungary for these long-established specialists in staging electronic music events in unique settings.
Early bird tickets from €70 are available here.
