Chiang Mai's beautiful riverside resort is giving every reason to staycation this season with a lineup that covers the full spectrum of a good time.
Start with the khao chae – Anantara's version of the Thai summer delicacy features a butterfly pea and jasmine rice combination paired with thoughtfully crafted fried sides, all enjoyed riverside with views of the Ping River.
Songkran is handled equally well with a riverside pool party running 3pm-8pm, Antonio Sax, DJ Cameron Glasgow and DJ BYAS on the lineup and an all-white dress code to match the most refined festival energy in the city. Entry starts at B690 with one drink, or B2,200 for two hours of unlimited food and drinks from 4pm-6pm.
Easter Sunday on April 5 brings a brunch at The Service at 1921 House from 12pm-3pm – live jazz, an Easter egg hunt for the kids and free-flow beverages starting at B2,290 per person. Optional upgrades to wine, cocktails and champagne for those who want to take the afternoon further.
