Moon-gaze and mosh at SangSom’s MOONLAB Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai’s teens and twenty-somethings, this one’s calling your name. SangSom’s highly-popular MOONLAB concert-installation event has eclipsed the north until now, bringing a four-season lunar experience to Central Chiang Mai Airport – complete with immersive light, sound and larger-than-life installations designed to make you feel like you’re wandering through a multi-dimensional moonscape. By day, it’s all about the art and entrance is free (before 3.30pm). By night, things turn up several notches with live concerts from The Toys, Milli, Yee, Lower Mansion, MIRRR, YourMood, Moving and Cut, Maiyarap and Yented. Sure, you have to pay for the show, but with all these big names, who cares how much tickets cost? Night tickets start at B390, with duo deals and three-day passes (B999, including a limited-edition souvenir) for those who want to commit to the full experience.Â
