Laotian artists The Silk Keffiyeh Project are in town for a morning panel discussion, followed by a creative textile workshop using Lao mulberry silk at North Gate Spirit, raising funds for Laos and for Palestine. After flexing your weaving skills, head round to their better known sister haunt North Gate Jazz Co-op for a night of live music and dancing. As always, all performances at North Gate are free but give generously at this double whammy fundraiser.
