Swap the usual party for something a little more messy by joining Surr Bar’s laid-back creative session where drinks flow as much as the paint. Art Gets Messy is your monthly call to get into painting without the pressures of stuffy art studios. Instead, pop your behind on a soft felt stool, order an extra-strong cocktail and let the mood (and the alcohol) guide your dominant hand. Tickets include a full painting set, your own canvas and access to the bar’s signature cocktail list, with a few (possibly boozy) surprises throughout the night. There are no rules here (aside from trying to keep the paint at least somewhere near your canvas) – just good music, great drinks and plenty of beautifully messy mistakes.
