Chiang Mai’s annual underground music gathering returns with its signature mix of heavy beats, community energy and cross-border solidarity, this time at the aptly named DemoCrazy Cafe. If you’re behind on the scene, MOB Party brings together underground artists from across the region to raise funds and show support for people affected by the ongoing conflicts in Myanmar and elsewhere. Their stacked lineup includes faces like MC Loki Dolo, shining star NuKola, sky dancer Jayreikus, lyricist Babytooth Foxy and even Catsmoke – an activist producer and rapper straight out of the UK. Come for the sound system, stay for the cause – this is a reunion for those in the know and an open invitation for anyone ready to stand in the crowd.
