Shangri-La Chiang Mai is making Easter easy for families and the kids-eat-free deal alone is worth booking for.
The Easter Garden Brunch Buffet runs April 5-6 at Kad Kafe from 12pm-3pm with a spread that covers pretty much every corner of a proper Easter table. Salads sourced from Royal Project farms in Chiang Mai, a live BBQ station with beef tenderloin, white prawns and pork belly, hot cross buns fresh from the bakery basket and a carvery serving steaming slow-roasted lamb leg and a salmon Wellington that’s to die for. Save room for the ‘Easter sweet garden’ – roasted rhubarb tart, tiramisu au citron and salted caramel banana pudding among others.
But it’s the family perks are what set this one apart. Kids eat free with every paying adult and there's a dedicated Easter workshop to keep the little ones occupied. The whole family gets complimentary access to the pool, waterslide and splash zone too – but remember to wait 20 minutes before swimming on a full stomach. For us, an Easter brunch that turns into an afternoon at the pool is very hard to argue with.
