The city is heating up this cool season as the Afro-Latin Festival returns for its fourth edition – a three-day celebration of dance, music and community at Khum Phucome Hotel. Over the weekend, dance it out across two party rooms every night (a full Kizomba room and a Latin room split between Bachata and Salsa) and get involved with more than 30 workshops led by rising stars and local talents. On top of all that (or if you can only make part of it), the weekend wraps with an afternoon pool party with (you guessed it) more Afro-Latin beats and a generous serving of ice-cold cocktails. International DJs will be spinning their stuff, accompanied by live animations and dance performances. Swim, sip, dance, repeat – that’s how it goes right? Festival pass holders get in free to the pool party, while single-entry tickets include two drinks at the door.
Nov 28-30. Festival passes from B3,500, Sunday pool party B800 on the door. Khum Phucome Hotel. 1pm onwards
