Thailand’s space agency is back with a stellar lineup of astronomy activities across five learning centres nationwide – including Chiang Mai. The full week schedule has a wide range of unique highlights and events tailored to stargazers, science lovers and curious minds of all ages. While events are happening across the country, Chiang Mai has the most exciting exhibitions, including a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see a real piece of asteroid Ryugu, brought back from space by the Hayabusa2 mission, on display at the Sirindhorn Astronomical Park for a longer period from Aug 20-30.
Aug 18-24. Free (some exhibitions may have fees). Sirindhorn Astronomical Park. 9am-4pm.
