See street crews at the Street Dance B-Boy Showcase

Chiang Mai’s top breakers and street dancers take over Ploen Ruedee Market for a free, open-air showcase that feels as raw and local as it gets –  no tickets, no barriers, just a crowd gathering around some of the city’s best talent as they move. There’s a free class beforehand if you want to pick up a few basics, and it’s worth arriving early even just to watch; the build-up is part of the energy as the space slowly fills and the rhythm kicks in.
