You are invited to join the #artisapublicgood campaign to shift cultural policy for the City of Dallas. On May 9 2015, there will be a city election to fill six open city council seats and there is a real opportunity to finally have a majority of City Council who supports the arts. Now is the time for creatives to have a real voice in how our City should look and how our City should support our cultural creators. This is an opportunity for the performing arts and music community to organize to make the City of Dallas a better place for artists to live, work, and flourish. We will present our platform, our strategy, and how you can make a difference. Making Dallas a better place for artists won't happen without your presence, engagement, and support.
