Executive Speaker Series: Dr. Mayra Thompson

Join us at St. Monica for our March speaker event, featuring Dr. Mayra Thompson, who will be sharing her faith journey and how to 'Work in Witness' in the medical field. Mayra Thompson, MD, is a member of the Division of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She sees patients at the Lowe Foundation Center for Women’s Preventative Health Care. Dr. Thompson received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her doctor of medicine from the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois Research Hospital. Dr. Thompson has lectured and proctored courses in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques at UT Southwestern and elsewhere. She not only teaches the residency staff, but enjoys assisting physicians in private practice who wish to learn and master these techniques.
