Trustee Narvaez has spent his short time on the DCS board working on policy to advance the credo "strengthening education through service".
His greatest accomplishment thus far is submitting and passing unanimously an updated non-discrimination policy which is now fully inclusive for all employees and the students served by DCS.
Mr. Narvaez has been a staunch advocate for employee fairness prior to being elected to the DCS Board, and was extremely proud to have helped pass a new minimum pay rate that is a true living wage.
He is committed to continue as an advocate for the students' safety and well being, advancing employee relations, and using citizen tax dollars to increase DCS' models to their fullest potential in order to save the independent school districts valuable budget dollars.
