Dallas Producers Association says
A new aspect of the Saturday Show & Tell is our Expert Series where an expert from the DPA community will provide a 2 hour course about their profession - giving insight and information helpful to the film/video community.

Our first session will be held by Donatelle Mascari and she will discuss the art and craft of makeup for film and video.

Donatelle Mascari (The makeup maven) Has taught classes/workshops at Bradley University, Northwestern, UTA film, electronic broadcasting, S.T.A.G.E.
and has worked on set with Political, Sports, Theater and Film A-listers She has decades of experience working with talent on stage, screen, commercial, and corporate.

This is NOT a class about how to apply makeup or makeup technique - but rather, what the value of a makeup artist is on set.

Donatelle will discuss what it takes to be a makeup artist, the tools and products she uses, how she works with clients and crew, and the benefits she and her colleagues bring to the table. She will also explain what you can bring to set if you have to work without a makeup artist.

Whether you are a producer, a dp, a one man band, a student, or just interested, this session will be very insightful.
