Join PDYP for a tour and complimentary happy hour at the Filter Building on White Rock Lake. Atop the southwest shore of White Rock Lake, the historic Filter Building is an excellent example of the urban industrial style and more specifically the renaissance revival style of the 1920’s. It was built in 1911 in response to an increased population and extended droughts in the early 1900s. It began filtering water in 1913.

After being dormant for decades, a massive rehabilitation project has now turned the Filter Building into an amazing event space. The Filter Building features exposed red brick walls, original iron trusses, and many windows overlooking White Rock Lake.

Everyone is welcome. New members can join Preservation Dallas at the event and "pay your age" for a reduced price membership.
