Abel Gonzalez is no stranger to overcoming obstacles. At a the young age of 23, he was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease that attacks and deforms the joints. Doctors told him he was destined for a wheelchair. Seven years later, he had not only overcome RA, but was competing in American Ninja Warrior which is the most difficult athletic event in the world! Abel opened Ground Zero Gym to train and inspire others to overcome their own obstacles, and he also travels as a motivational speaker, sharing his inspiring story.
