Lodhi Colony Market is about to see yet another hip opening this October with the launch of Bambi. The new spot opens on October 29, and the plan, so far, is steel-coded (literally) and straightforward: burgers, bagels, shakes, and fries, with a side of good old fizzy drinks.
Bambi’s been notably pared back with the promo, save for their elegant photography of what the city usually considers fast food, which is interesting. Delhi, like most metropolitan cities of the world, has been plagued by the familiarly expensive hipster artisanal burger. From a first glance online, Bambi doesn’t seem to overdo it, though. There’s a simplicity and sense of fun to how they’re dropping hints.
What we can tell, so far, is that burgers are the main event. The patties are fresh-ground, smashed on the griddle and served on brioche buns. As for the bagels, we know that cream cheese and salmon are in the mix. Fries are on the menu, because of course they are.
A clear point of view might be Lodhi Colony's heavily spoiled lunch crowd has been needing, so it’s safe to say we’re tuned.
