The flagship warehouse store and Cafe Dori opened in 2017, and quickly came under the Chhatarpur spotlight

Nothing lasts forever, not even the store where you bought that leather passport holder you've never actually used for international travel. Nappa Dori's flagship warehouse store at Dhan Mill in Chhatarpur is shutting its doors by the end of July.
Some context for anyone who's only ever known Dhan Mill as a place you go to for coffee and other questionable financial decisions: Nappa Dori's Dhan Mill store opened on October 14, 2017 as one of the brand's biggest outlets, conceived as part fashion-and-lifestyle store, part concept space.
Founder Gautam Sinha, who started Nappa Dori in 2010, called it the first genuine ‘concept store’ in Delhi; it came with a retail floor, a customisation centre, a library, an events space, and Cafe Dori, all inside what used to be an abandoned warehouse.
The detailing extended to hand-painted signage, antiques in treasure cabinets, and Harry Potter audiobooks in the restrooms. Cafe Dori itself has pan-European, egg-and-meat-heavy brunch fare.
Nine years and a lot of pretty stationery later, that chapter's closing. If you've ever used a Nappa Dori browsing session as a socially acceptable excuse to loiter around Dhan Mill before brunch, you'll know exactly what's ending here.
To be clear: this is specifically the Dhan Mill location shutting down. Nappa Dori isn't disappearing from Delhi or India altogether, with other stores still running across the city and country, along with a few international locations. But Dhan Mill was the original big Delhi statement, the one with the library and the audiobooks in the loo, and that's not really replaceable.
No word yet on why the location is closing, so consider this your prompt to go find out in person.
