Advanced Issues in Cancellation of Removal for Nonpermanent Residents

Discussion will include strategy and new case law to overcome statutory eligibility for relief under section 240A(B)(1) of the INA, how to overcome negative discretionary factors, and how to build a compelling case of exceptional and extremely unusual hardship.

Speaker:
Sarah Logan- Sarah Logan is the managing partner of The Logan Firm P.C., a boutique law firm in Boulder, Colorado, which specializes exclusively in immigration and nationality law. Sarah is a native of Tucson, Arizona. She graduated magna cume laude from Kenyon College and obtained her law degree from Vermont Law School in 2007. During her undergraduate education, Sarah also studied at La Universidad del Mar in Vina del Mar, Chile and completed a thesis on the effects of deforestation the Mapuche culture while living in a small indigenous community southern Chile.
Sarah's practice is focused on family based and removal defense immigration law.

Cost: $15.00 for Immigration Law Section Members, $20.00 for Non-Section Members. Call-in option will be $5.00.
