On December 19th, each Elector in their state will vote for President and Vice President on separate ballots. I think most if not all of us can argue that Donald Trump is “unfit to serve”. Not to mention it's been clear for weeks that Secretary Clinton won the popular vote by a landslide.

Donald Trump has opened the door of acceptance to a widespread of white supremacist hatred that is currently plaguing our nation. Our youth are being bullied in unimaginable ways in their schools. Our female neighbors are losing their reproductive healthcare and rights. Our Muslim neighbors are living in fear and being physically bullied. Our neighbors of color are victims of vicious hate crimes. Our queer neighbors are living in fear and being kicked out of homes. Our Native neighbors are fighting for their land and water. Our homeless neighbors are having their belongings stolen in the dead cold of winter. Our immigrant neighbors are fearing that they'll soon be ripped away from their families. Our non-supremacist white neighbors are feeling shame and at a loss of words. And we all want this to change. The hatred is being thrown in all of our faces.

What will we do to stop it? How many of you are ready to commit to a peaceful movement to create a TRUE change for all of us? We have to stop this before it spreads like a wildfire. We have to stand up to it and show that peace over-powers their cowardice violent ways. We have to not only stand up to a President-elect, but the entire system and culture that is allowing us all to feel unsafe in the country we all call home. The time to act is now. Let's stop comparing our pain and realize we are all wounded and in need of a true change. Together, we create a true unity - and that's a force not to be reckoned with.

Remember, "One individual can begin a movement that turns the tide of history. Martin Luther King in the civil rights movement, Mohandas Ganhi in India, Nelson Mandela in South Africa are examples of people standing up with courage and non-violence to bring about needed changes." - Jack Canfield. A month ago Queen Phoenix spontaneously planned a peaceful, non-violent march that attracted 5,000+ passionate souls. From that a movement has sparked that they will fearlessly lead in the most fierce and peaceful way possible.

We are a Community for Unity. Together, we will create a safe, compassionate America.

This event is to remain peaceful.

**We will meet at the Greek Amphitheater in Civic Center Park (located on 14th between Bannock & Broadway). Please dress accordingly to the weather and bring layers. Bring any appropriate signs for the march. Children are welcome and we will do our best to create a safe place for them. Bring water and a snack if needed.
