Soundpainting And Tacos!

Bring your instrument and come play with the Playground as we host an evening of genre bending new music!! Soundpainting is a live composing sign language created by New York composer Walter Thompson for musicians, dancers, actors, poets, and visual artists working in the medium of structured improvisation. Participate as a player or composer/ conductor. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how long you’ve been playing, what instrument you play, or even if you can read music. Rock, jazz, classical, folk, bluegrass, electronic- all genre’s are welcome. Professional, amateur, beginner. It doesn’t matter. We want you there!! Come at 6:30pm for a teaching/ review session of the gestures. After that….we paint! Afterwards we enjoy each others’ company over tacos and El Taco de Mexico!!
