I visited the Palm tree last weekend and would have done sooner if it was not for pesky work. Full of Hope for a new venue, all was dashed upon entering.
they seem to have given the place a clean. And put skate boards round the top. The bar staff were rude and the selection of beer is poor. The toilets are disgusting . It does have an un garnished beer garden though. !
Not for me thanks.
How this beer garden got ahead of the lovely Forresters Guild, or the amazing Dalriadia, I'll never know .
Was watching this place with interest during the refurb..
Saw the delivery of the palm tree and am loving the results!
Great atmosphere, food, decor, drinks and staff!
With Thistly Cross on tap and a couple of local ales on the pull, me and the wife are well catered for!
They also have a great gin slush on the go!
The toilets haven't been done up but they're clean and working.
The beer garden is a total sun trap and my dog is always made to feel welcome!
