Love curry and love the Bard? Better get yourself down to V Deep in Leith tonight, then.

Hardeep Sing Kohli's craft-beer-and-curry restaurant is holding a unique Burns' Night celebration, serving up a three-course menu inspired by the great man, as well as a haggis naan-eating competition and maybe even some bagpipes, too.

In keeping with V Deep's commitment to fusing Punjabi and Scottish cuisine, the Burns' supper on offer on Monday February 25 includes a neep pakora starter, haggis naan main course and chai cranachan for desert, accompanied by live bagpiping and an address to... a naan.

And for all you competitive souls, the haggis naan-eating competition gives you three minutes to eat as much as naan as you can, with the victor receiving a free dinner for four to be taken at a later date.

The last few tickets are still available here, priced at £20 each plus booking fee and things get going at 6.30pm.

V.Deep, 60 Henderson Street, EH6 6BT
