Looking for a way to make Frisbee more fun? Disc golf could be for you, and it’s set to be arrive soon in Edinburgh.

A course for the sport is being planned for The Hermitage, a site run by Autism Ventures Scotland in the Braid Hills.

The aim of the game is to get your Frisbee into a series of metal baskets with the fewest throws. It has been in existence since the 1960s and the scoring system is the same as traditional golf.

A nine-hole golf course is already in operation at The Hermitage, which provides training and support for people with autism, and this is to continue to operate when the disc course opens. There will also be a mountain bike skills centre added with trails, skill tracks and equipment hire.

But which will be more popular? And is the new sport on a par with the classic game?
