Aside from all the glorious one-off events happening this week (including visits from some Scandi country icons and a tribute to the humble teen movie), we've also picked out some exhibitions that you may have neglected since you thought they'd be around forever. Well, they won't - in fact, they finish on Sunday. Catch 'em while you can.

First Aid Kit, Usher Hall, Mon Jan 19
The Swedish sisters who sound like they grew up in Nashville will be filling Edinburgh’s grandest concert space with their soaring harmonies, lush instrumentation and lovelorn lyrics this week. It’s gonna be beautiful.

The Faith Healer, Royal Lyceum Theatre, until Sat Feb 7
Join the Fantastic Francis Hardy as he travels among the UK’s small towns, healing the lame and unfortunate and seeking his own form of redemption.

Beyond Clueless, Cameo Cinema, Thu Jan 22
Director Charlie Lyne gives the much-maligned ‘teen movie’ genre its due in this engaging doc exploring the link between the heightened drama of adolescence and the films that capture it. Lyne will also be attending the screening for a Q&A afterwards.

Omid Djalili, Playhouse, Thu Jan 22
The comedian and actor brings his ‘Iranalamadingdong’ tour to the Playhouse. Did we include this here mainly because we like saying ‘Iranalamadingdong’? Well, no, it’s cos he’s funny, but having a show titled ‘Iranalamadingdong’ can’t hurt.

A Most Violent Year, general release from Fri Jan 23
American writer-director JC Chandor ably steps into the shoes of the great Sidney Lumet in this New York period crime piece starring Oscar Isaac (‘Inside Llewyn Davis’) and Jessica Chastain (‘Zero Dark Thirty’).

Rally & Broad, Bongo Club, Fri Jan 23
The stellar performance evening put together by poets Jenny Lindsay and Rachel McCrum pops its head up again, this time with special guests Francesca Beard, Hector Bizerk, Emily Dodd, Christopher Willatt and Jess Smith.

LuckyMe, Sneaky Pete’s, Fri Jan 23
The tastemaking Glasgow label make another welcome trip along the M8, this time celebrating the release of S-Type’s latest EP ‘SV8’, which features collaborations with Yung Gud (Sad Boys), Lunice (TNGHT) and Glasgow’s Inkke.

Chloe Dewe Mathews at Stills / Generation at Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art / RSA Open at Royal Scottish Academy - all until Sun Jan 25
OK, we cheated with the whole Top 10 thing – this is actually three events sneaking into one slot. All three of these exhibitions are ending on Sunday though, so if you haven’t yet seen Mathews’ striking photography, the RSA’s eclectic display of new talent or Generation’s epic celebration of Scottish contemporary art, this week’s your last chance.

Rock’n’Roll Ping Pong, Bongo Club, Sun Jan 25
True, this beer, tunes and table tennis night was also in our round-up of last month’s best events, but five weeks away from the tables really leaves us hankering for more.

Burns Night, various venues, Sun Jan 25
The nation’s Bard fails to attend his own birthday party for something like the 200th time running, but we won’t hold it against him. Find out the best places to swig a dram, address a haggis and dash a white sergeant with our handy feature
