The ten best kids' shows at the Edinburgh Festivals

August in Edinburgh: a time for dress up, running about daft, temper tantrums, tears and laughter. And that’s just the adults. The Edinburgh Festivals also offer lots to keep kids busy, with almost 200 events for young people of all ages in the Fringe brochure alone. The Edinburgh International Book Festival caters widely for the yoofs too through its Baillie Gifford Children’s Programme, and there’s even provision for kids at the Edinburgh Art Festival.
