Those who are intimately acquainted with Edinburgh's bar and club scene may know The Mash House under one of its many aliases: The Left Bank, Octopus Diamond, the Green Room and GRV are among the various monikers it has adopted over the past decade. Nowadays, it's home to gigs of a predominantly indie variety, followed up by highly danceable club nights veering towards the house/disco/soul end of the spectrum.
