Awkward Conversations With Animals I've F*cked

The balls-out bravery of playwright Rob Hayes' choice of title is actually pretty endearing. He knows fringe audiences like a memorably named show, preferably the kind where even collecting your ticket at box office involves dropping your voice to a surreptitious mutter, like you're ordering a 'Long Hard Screw' at a naff cocktail bar. And luckily, it's matched by a play that mixes utterly ridiculous depictions of bestiality ('You sniffed me like you meant it') with a sensitive look at the underlying loneliness of a man whose uncontrollable impulses towards the wrong kind of dogging make him an outcast.
