Inventive Edinburgh-based site specific theatre stalwarts Gridiron return to the Fringe with an adaptation of Andrew O’Hagan’s recent coming of age novel that follows a bunch of young Ayrshire lads as they visit Manchester for a music festival in 1986, and then again in the middle aged present. It’ll be performed in the rear warehouse of Brown’s of Leith, the old industrial yard that has recently been turned into a hip space for independent shops and eateries.
