Beloved Bull & the Firm finally joins forces with its sister cocktail bar, The Firm, as the two move into a shared space on Fleminginkatu

The bull is finally being let loose. Kallio’s much-loved, hipster-leaning Bull & the Firm is at last getting the space it deserves. In March 2026, the restaurant moves from Kulmavuorenkatu to Fleminginkatu, giving restaurateur Timo Aalto’s team access to a proper, fully equipped kitchen.
In its current Kulmavuorenkatu location, Bull & the Firm has had to make do with a limited reheating kitchen, where cooking was largely restricted to boiling and oven-baking. Even so, the restaurant has earned glowing reviews. The new space finally allows for proper frying, grilling and deep-frying – and we can’t wait to see (and taste) what’s coming.
Also moving into the new premises is sister cocktail bar The Firm. According to Aalto, Bull & the Firm will stick to its familiar food philosophy, but in a refreshed and refined form. The same ownership team also runs the well-regarded restaurants 305, Wellamo and Esmes, but Bull & the Firm was their very first venture – and, Aalto says, one they feel a particularly strong emotional connection to.
Bull & the Firm will continue at its current address until early March, before reopening shortly afterwards at Fleminginkatu 10. The space was previously home to Bar 10, which closed at the end of December.
Aalto is enthusiastic about the new location: ‘We’re right on the bend, which means a much bigger terrace than before. And with so many good restaurants already on the street, it bodes well for the atmosphere. There’s a great buzz on Flemari street.’
We’re already tipping Fleminginkatu as one of Helsinki’s most enticing streets for summer 2026.
