Extremely Shorts Film Festival says
The 19th annual Extremely Shorts Film Festival presents a diversity of bold visions in small doses, with premiere screenings on June 10th and 11th at Aurora Picture Show.
This year’s guest juror Leslie Raymond–an expanded cinema artist and Executive Director of the Ann Arbor Film Festival–has selected an eclectic, artful mix of short films (all under 3 minutes) from the hundreds that were submitted. Ten of the 26 new films in the program are Texas-made, with others coming from across the US, Canada, UK, France, Italy, Iran, and elsewhere. There will be two screenings of the main Extremely Shorts program on Friday, June 10 (7 & 9PM) as well as a special, final screening of it on Saturday, June 11 (7:30PM) that includes the festival's awards presentation and a reception with food and drink. Juror Leslie Raymond and some of the participating filmmakers will be in attendance.
The Extremely Shorts Film Festival and its youth counterpart, Extremely Young Film Festival, are generously supported by Whole Foods Market. All screenings are held at Aurora Picture Show. For tickets and information, visit www.aurorapictureshow.org
