The MFAH and Houston Community College District team up for a professional fashion show inspired by "Sculpted in Steel: Art Deco Automobiles and Motorcycles, 1929–1940."

“Fashion Fusion” features garments created by young designers in HCC's award-winning fashion program. The runway fashion show is the culmination of a competition that challenged students to design original garments as edgy, creative responses to the fabulous Art Deco curves and luxurious attention to detail exemplified by the vehicles on view in Sculpted in Steel. This free event presents 20 selected garments, with awards for the top winners in four categories.

Complete your evening with a visit to the ticketed exhibition "Sculpted in Steel" before or after the fashion show, and enjoy cocktails at the Fashion Week–themed Happy Hour Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.

• Free general admission
• $25 VIP seating—Reserve your ticket, which includes a free drink from the Happy Hour Thursday bar at
• Drinks for sale by credit card only for ages 21 and older
