TX/RX Labs says
Model with one hand, spin with the other! Learn the basic functions of Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD modeling and join the fidget spinner revolution.

Autodesk Fusion 360 is a highly robust software suite providing 3D CAD, CAM, engineering simulations and architectural renderings. But it is also nimble enough to use for designing simple prototypes.

In this course, teens will design fidget spinners for 608 bearings and hardware weights. In the process, they will learn to navigate the Fusion 360 user interface, create constrained parametric sketches, extrude sketches to 3D objects, and modify those objects dynamically by dimensioning sketches.

This is an introductory class geared toward anyone looking to build projects using 3D Computer Aided Drawing; no prior CAD experience is necessary!

By the end of this course, students will have designed a fidget spinner to fit with a 608 bearing to be 3D Printed. TXRX will 3D Print the fidget spinners to be picked up at a later date.

Please come with your Autodesk username and password. If you are not already registered, please do so by visiting this page. Fusion 360 is FREE for students, educators and enthusiasts! If you have any problems obtaining your license, please refer to the following page.

Note: This is a class for teens 13-18
$50 all materials cost included students will be able to keep a 3D printed fidget spinner of their own design
