JAN. 25: HOME SCHOOL DAY

The Children’s Museum of Houston is bringing on the pHun for Home School Day. The Museum will be open exclusively for home school families to have unlimited access to all 14-galleries of non-stop, action-packed fun and explore our STEM-based educational programming centered on this week’s Crazy for Chemistry celebration. Pre-registration is required.

Home School Day Special Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
BASF Kids’ Lab – The pHun Factor: Explore how color extracted from vegetables, fruits or flowers vary according to their pH values.
Event Times: 11 a.m. to noon, and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Tree Top.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES:
Science Experiments: Play the role of a scientist with experiments in Power Science Lab.
Longest Polymer Paper Chain: Make a polymer paper chain at Junktion.
Scientist ID Badge: Become an official scientist with your very own badge at Junktion.
Natural vs. Synthetic: Examine fabrics under a microscope at EcoStation.
Paper Chain Creations: Create your own chain decorations at Alexander Art Academy.
Animal Tapestries: Weave colorful animal pictures on a loom at EcoStation.
100 Puzzles: Discover the many ways to make 100 at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
Color Sorting Blocks: Practice sorting and counting in a block game at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
