The Visual Art Department of Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts shares a selection of short films created by their students over the past two years. This free admission showcase features a selection of short narrative, documentary, experimental, and music video work, with many of the young artists and teachers in attendance. The program includes work by Cathy Le, Joel Valdes, Decarte Washington, Edwin Feuge, Adom Sterling, Edie Wackwitz, Isabella Mueller, Sebastian Covington, Nadia Kuharska, Mackenzie Fisher, Amy Vaughan, Candace Asmus, Marissa Kapp, Sara Hansen, Courtnee Stanford, Marisa Wattenbarger, Kesa Ferguson, Lucy Stickney, Jaime Alsenz, Hernan Cuevas, Calista Garcia, Valerie Gonzalez, Claudia Rojas, John-Paul Arreaga, Jill Garrison, Sydney Lewis, Astrid Yeager, Jesica Salazar, Addie Repp, Evelyn Wattenbarger, David Hernandez, Tobi Marlin, Beryl Kinsey, Aryssa Gonzalez, Kiera Boyle, and Niell Gorman.
