PAN'S LABYRINTH plays Friday (1/27) and Saturday (1/28) at 11:59PM.

Snyopsis: Harnessing the formal characteristics of classic folklore to a 20th century landscape, writer/director Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pacific Rim, The Devil's Backbone) delivers a unique, richly imagined epic—a gothic fairy tale set against the postwar repression of Franco's Spain. The timeless tale of good and evil, bravery and sacrifice, love and loss, unfolds through the eyes of Ofelia (Ivana Baquero), a dreamy little girl who is uprooted to a rural military outpost commanded by her new stepfather (Sergi López). Powerless and lonely in a place of unfathomable cruelty, Ofelia lives out her own dark fable as she confronts monsters both otherworldly and human. Also starring Ariadna Gil and Doug Jones. Winner of 3 Academy Awards, including Best Cinematography, Art Direction and Makeup. (Fully subtitled)
