Pier & Beam says
Join Pier & Beam at Houston Watch Co. on Tuesday, July 18th, for our July P&B Happy Hour. It's a great chance to catch up with Pier & Beam members, meet new folks and have a much-needed drink or three. In case you don't know us, Pier & Beam is Preservation Houston's next-generation member group, targeted at Houstonians between the ages of 21-45 who are passionate about the city's history, neighborhoods and architecture.

As always, P&B happy hours are totally casual: come when you want, leave when you're ready and pick up your own tab. You're also welcome to bring non-members — the happy hours are a good introduction to the group.

About Houston Watch Co.
In 1912, Houston jeweler V. A. Corrigan opened Houston Watch Company in the Southern Pacific Railroad Building, designed in 1910 by Chicago architect Jarvis Hunt. In 1999, the Southern Pacific Railroad Building was renovated into the Bayou Lofts and is now part of the Main Street Market Square Park Historic District. The Houston Watch Co. in its current form as a bar opened in 2015.

Ryan Clark, co-owner of Houston Watch Co., will be on hand to speak to us about the process of rehabbing the space. Make sure to stick around for the end, when we’ll have a chance to see Downtown Houston’s skyline from the roof of Bayou Lofts!
