Our final Museum Experience event of 2016 is coming your way on Saturday, September 24th and features 5 remarkable and varied institutions: Children's Museum of Houston, The Health Museum, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston Zoo and Rice Gallery.

ZONE 4 Programming:

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF HOUSTON www.cmhouston.org

10:30 am: Hooked on Books celebration of “Read Strong All Year Long” dance party and cake.
Bayou City Book Festival at the PowerPlay Alcove. General admission charge.
2 pm & 3 pm: Live performances by the DramaKids, costumes and improve acting workshop. General admission charge.
11:15 am, 1:15 pm, 3:15 pm: Story Times.

THE HEALTH MUSEUM www.thehealthmuseum.org

9 am-5 pm: Explore your fears – join the Health Museum to investigate the science behind fear and learn about the body’s physiological responses. Whether you are a thrill-seeker or faint-at-heart, you can face your own fear in a safe environment. Visit Our Amazing Body Gallery for interactive fun for all ages. General admission charge.
11 am-3 pm: Free blood pressure check by professional Park Plaza Hospital staff at the first aid station.

HOUSTON MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCE www.hmns.org

9 am-5 pm: Come face-to-face with the largest exhibition of real mummies ever assembled. Mummies of the World uses state-of-the-art multimedia and cutting edge 3-D animation to travel a 4500 year journey exploring the creation and history of mummification. Celebrate the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights in Amending America: The Bill of Rights. General admission charge.

HOUSTON ZOO www.houstonzoo.org

9 am-2 pm: Get out and play in nature. Find exciting games and activities that get you in touch with the wild. Included with Zoo admission and free for Zoo members.

RICE GALLERY www.ricegallery.org
Closed for installation: On October 6th from 5-7 pm, join Rice Gallery installation artist, Jonathan Schipper for the opening reception of his time-based, kinetic exhibition, Cubicle. Always free admission.
