Well, who knew it would be 'so easy'? After spending the past few days teasing Indian fans with a deliberately vague 'see you soon?' captions accompanied by an Indian flag emoji on her Instagram story, British pop sensation Olivia Dean appears to have pretty much confirmed that she’s coming to India, and is headlining Lollapalooza India 2027.
Crucially, the story text wasn’t just a tease: it included a clickable link taking fans to a Laylo RSVP page rather tellingly titled ‘Loving In India. Olivia Dean.’ At the time, there were no dates, venue or concert details attached, although speculation quickly centred on Lollapalooza India.
Now, those who signed up have their answer.
Has Olivia Dean really confirmed her Lollapalooza India 2026 show?
On Tuesday morning, registered fans received a message directly from Dean that read: 'I’m headlining Lollapalooza 2027!!', alongside an artist-sale link and a code for first-release tickets. Following the link takes users to a BookMyShow ticketing page, where the code can be entered to access the sale.
So while Lollapalooza India itself is yet to formally reveal its 2027 artist lineup, Dean has seemingly saved them one name on the announcement poster.
And it’s a big one. The London-born singer has become one of British pop and soul’s biggest breakout names, with songs including Man I Need and So Easy (To Fall In Love) pushing her well beyond the UK and onto increasingly bigger stages. If Lolla is indeed her first performance in the country, January will mark Dean’s long-awaited India debut.
What we do know officially is that Lollapalooza India returns to Mumbai on January 23 and 24, 2027, once again taking over Mahalaxmi Racecourse for its fifth edition. The festival promises four stages and more than 40 performances across the weekend, although the names behind those performances are still publicly under wraps.
Until the giant Lolla lineup poster drops, consider this your not-so-subtle confirmation: Olivia Dean is heading to Mumbai!
