The streaming giant's exclusive live showcase puts India’s top listed artists in the spotlight

If your Spotify Wrapped has been dominated by replayed singalongs, Punjabi bangers, indie heartbreaks or more, something exciting's in store for you. The streaming giant is back with the second edition of I-Pop Icons Live – an exclusive night for its premium members that brings the platform’s top-listed Indian artists – proving that Indian pop is building an era rather than having just a moment.
I-Pop Icons will take place at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai this August. Spotify also recently announced the artist lineup for the exclusive live event – including heavyweights like Anuv Jain, Rashmeet Kaur, Paresh Pahuja, Taaruk Raina and Harrdy Sandhu – where each artist represents a different corner of the country’s ever-expanding pop landscape.
Expect an immersive musical and visual representation of your most replayed songs – Rashmeet’s Bajre Da Sitta and Nadiyon Paar, Anuv’s Tum Mere Ho and Arz Kiya Hai, Paresh’s Dooron Dooron, and Harrdy Sandhu’s high-energy punjabi chartbusters, among others.
Registration for Spotify Premium members is on a first-come, first-served basis, without guaranteed entry – you won’t get a reserved seat to sing and dance to the beats. You can register via the Spotify Premium Rewards website, and it closes on August 18 – time’s ticking.
As a Spotify Premium Experience, I-Pop Icon launched with its live show in November last year, adding Jonita Gandhi, Aditya Rikhari, Sanju Rathod, King, Hansika Pareek and Kushagra to the lineup. The intent is to celebrate homegrown pop music and bringing artist whose music has traveled beyond playlists and concert venues. So whether your playlist leans towards soaring indie songs or Punjabi dance anthems, this year’s lineup has something to add to your concert calendar.
